History

Diemer worked in and/or was a partner in the "True companies" from 1968 to 2006. Started by his father, H.A. "Dave" True, Jr. in 1948, they had operations mainly in the northern Rockies in oil and gas E&P, a drilling contractor, oil and gas pipelines, oil marketing, trucking, oilfield pipe sales (OCTG), ranches, and a local bank. The True companies continue in each of those endeavors. Diemer and his two sons, Kip and Kyle, sold their interests to Diemer's brothers, Hank and Dave, in 2006 in order to found the Diamond Companies.

The True family started into the Oil business when Diemer's great grandfather, Henry True, worked for Standard Oil refineries in San Antonio, TX and Mexico City. His son Harry later worked for the Texas Company as both an engineer and land man, where Diemer's father, HA "Dave" started as well. For well over 100 years, the Trues have not been able to find honest work, instead preferring the oil business.
